Why don't you make units for all cars and trucks?
We don't make units for cars that preclude installation by the purchaser with a simple screwdriver. Some cars, like Mercedes, Volvo, etc. have a motor shroud or cover that eliminates the average person from doing the simple installation we require. WE concluded we can't be every thing to every body.

Why are there different sizes?
Different makes have different size throttle bodies. Each MileEdge Plus unit is custom made for the engine in which it is installed.

Do you have business opportunities for distributors? And, do you sell outside the U.S.
We do have some openings in several states for distributors and yes we do sell outside the U.S.

Why does your unit cost $99.95 for cars and trucks and $199.95 for 18 wheelers??? I see other gadgets advertised from $49.95 to $69.95, what is the difference??
Very good question.We cannot answer for other units except the vast majority of them are ONE SIZE fits all. In the case of MileEdge Plus, each unit is custom made for its particular engine application.

To make one unit we do the following:

  • We measure the throttle body at the entrance and any slope going inward up to three inches.
  • The measurement is taken to our factory where an aluminium unit is milled. Generally we mill three units of varying degree of inward slope.
  • These units are then tested on our flow bench to determine what degree of alteration flows best.
  • We than have a mold made to these specifications.

We will have more than $6,000.00 invested in this process before one unit is sold. This process takes place for every vehicle we sell units for. The process for 18 wheelers is a bit more complex and time consuming but step for step about the same.
